GRAPHIC RECORDING AND SKETCHNOTES
Graphic recording and Sketchnotes combine words and pictures to engage both sides of the brain for higher retention. If you want someone to visually capture the content and insights from your event, then you’re looking for someone to create Sketchnotes.
Sketchnotes – Visual recording of a conversation, presentation, video or notes – are similar to graphic recording but created on a smaller scale such as A4 or A3. Sketchnotes may be created live whilst sitting in the audience at an event, or created after the event from facilitator summaries, videos or podcasts. These snapshot images are usually shared via social media. Digitally created post-event Sketchnotes can also be printed as large as you need.
Graphic recording – Public visual recording of a conversation or session – is the art of translating a conversation, public address, presentation or panel into words and images in real time. Images are created with marker pens on large pieces of paper (or they can be hand-drawn on a digital pad). A graphic recording is objective and reflects the group’s experience of the event. You get to keep your giant poster.
